saw we cut the siding around the window 1.5 inches. |

Remove the 1.5 inch strips around the window. |

We now have access to the existing window's nail-on fin. |

Remove nails from nail-on fin. |

Remove old window. |

Cut sheet rock in the interior window box to allow space for the
wider new window. |

Place new windowin the opening and secure it with screws. |

Caulk around the nail-on frame and where the siding touches the
wood framing. |

Install siding filler strips. |

Install new exterior window trim. |
